Team of Small Business Experts will help
Westside Businesses to Grow Their Businesses
An extraordinary team of small business experts will gather at El Paso’s Westside Golden Corral Restaurant to arm business owners with the knowledge they will need to grow their businesses in 2012!
Business development specialists from the SBA-El Paso District Office, the MBDA Business Center-El Paso, the Women’s Business Border Center, the Texas Department of Transportation’s TBOD Center and the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host an Access to Capital outreach session on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 5:30 p.m., at the Golden Corral, 7420 N. Mesa.
The all-inclusive cost per person is $10.00, and includes the buffet, and all training materials.
The purpose of this outreach session is to reach out to our local businesses that are located on the Westside that are interested in finding out about different options for accessing capital to start or grow their businesses.
Key points that will be discussed include:
- Know the options of accessing capital through the SBA, credit unions, community banks, large financial institutions, non-traditional lenders; find out which one you can qualify for and fits your needs the most.
- Using these options to grow your business and create jobs!
- Find out how to use “low cash flow ending” options
Other important information you will learn:
- Is there a need for your type of industry?
- How important is your credit score?
- Do you need collateral?
- How much personal equity is needed to inject into the venture?
- Should you have partners?
Anyone interested in attending should call Yvette Limas at the MBDA Business Center-El Paso, at 566-4066. The $10 fee is payable at the door, but RSVP’s are recommended to ensure seating.
