One of the goals of the Chamber is to provide representation for the membership on issues thatcould impact the growth and continued prosperity of our community and to keep the membership informed of such issues. As a Chamber member, you have opportunities for actual involvement in government and community improvement issues and programs through a broad & diverse government committee structure that reflects the mission of the Chamber.
- Chamber members are collectively represented as the voice of business in the area of government, community improvement and education. Our Chamber is a coalition builder, forging partnership with concerned public officials, public school administrators, and community groups.

- The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the area’s single most powerful advocate for the small business. Member involvement strengthens the voice of the small business so that the best interests of the private sector are heard by all levels of government.
- Action on Local Issues that Provide awareness on local regulations and activities that can negatively impact a business or provide opportunities for small businesses.
- Awareness of Border Issues that expand the education and information process on issues that affect small business on the border. Communicate key issues that affect small businesses from doing business internationally.
- Input on State Regulations that will continue to identify key partnerships in order to provide awareness to community and regional allies on small business issues.
- Advocacy on Federal Mandates to identify the key issues that affect small business on the federal level and expand support and efforts for military initiatives regionally.
- Taking our Chamber members voice with us to our annual, HC to DC trip, Regional State of Small Business forum and our Small Business Fly-In Days to Austin.
