 Your El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the premier technology expo in the region, BizTech 2010!
On October 13, the borderland community will be able to experience firsthand the newest and coolest technology as well as celebrate the recognitions for the annual Technology Hall of Fame Inductee, Tech Rock Star and the 2010 Best Little Website on the Border! The interactive event will take place at the El Paso Convention and Performing Arts Center.
This year we are celebrating 12 years of bringing the largest technology expo to the community and we want you to be part of the action!
In 1998, the El paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Launched BizTech in response to the growing need to add technology outreach in El Paso.The BizTech Technology Expo & Showcase is the Southwest Region’s largest meeting place for thousands of technology professionals, community and business leaders, fellow entrepreneurs and others looking for the best in technology products, services and solutions from both sides of the International border-metroplex.
The BizTech Expo and Showcase draws over 1,000 attendees and nearly 60 exhibitors and sponsors including Cisco, Dell, AT&T and many more! The rapid growing Hispanic Market spends approximately $113 billion in the Lone Star State ONLY!

In addition to the excitement of premier technology expo in the region, BizTech also sets the forum to recognize the best ambassadors in our region’s technology. For over 12 years, your El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has celebrated the creativity and originality of the best websites in our region with the Best Little Website on the Border Award. We are now taking nominations for this recognition.
Another recognition granted during the BizTech Expo and Showcase, is the induction to the Technology Hall of Fame. El Paso is exploding with local technology experts eager to launch the border region into the next generation of technology. Your El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce would like for the border community to tell us who you think should be inducted to the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce BizTech Technology Hall of Fame and what accomplishments this individual has done in utilizing technology to benefit their business and their community.
Technology ROCKS and as such, we recognize annually the Technology Rock Star! This is intended to recognize programmers, IT professionals or any other individual who works directly with technology and totally exceeds in their profession.
