The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is pleased to announce Las Palmas & Del Sol Healthcare as the Title Sponsor for the 2008 Gary Del Palacio memorial Golf Tournament. Thank you for your continued support and helping make dreams come true.

Las Palmas & Del Sol are located on both the East and West sides of El Paso. Las Palmas & Del Sol Healthcare has been providing quality patient care for over thirty years for El Pasoans.

In 2005 the Education Foundation changed the name of its annual golf tournament in memory of the Foundation’s Chairman, Gary Del Palacio. The Golf Tournament is the major fund raising event that provides scholarship to local high school seniors. To date the Foundation has provided college scholarship to over 200 El Paso students who might not have otherwise had the opportunity to attend college.

On behalf of the Gary Del Palacio Memorial Golf Tournament we extend our gratitude to Las Palmas& Del Sol Healthcare for their support.

Golfers can enjoy a great game of golf and raise funds for the outstanding students in El Paso to attend college. 

Golfers begin arriving at the course to practice and improve their swing, enjoy the morning sun and check out the competition. During registration the golfers check out prizes for teams, door prizes, silent and live auction opportunities. First Place wins round trip tickets to any U.S. destination on Southwest Airlines and bragging rights for 2008!!

Throughout the day golfers will be treated to refreshments provided by our sponsors and volunteers. The Foundations Scholarship recipients meet and greet the golfers and share their plans for the future. While on the course, golfers take the time to participate in additional contests to win prizes and gift certificates. All of this fun and provide scholarships!!

Through the Golf Tournament the ideals set by Gary are remembered and continued.  The Golf Tournament will provide funds that will aid local deserving students obtain the financial assistance to further their higher education.  The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is committed to increase the rate of college and university degrees among El Paso students. As chairman of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, Gary prioritized education and believed that giving young El Pasoans a higher education would contribute to the success of the Sun City.
